Z-3 Mainsail

The all purpose main. The Z-3 is now made of Dimension/Polyant 165 HTP Squared cloth. After extensive testing on and off the race course we've proved that it's fast and more durable. It still has the 253 HTP Squared cloth in the radial clew to maintain a straight exit in the lower leech. The mainsail panel layout utilizes a rocked panel plan to limit stretch, creating a sail that is both stable and durable. This approach allows our main to be slightly fuller in the conditions you need the power to get the crew over early but controls the stretch making the sail flatter in a breeze. A few years ago we added the light spectra leech line and more recently the hard "stretchy stuff" luff rope.
